Tip of the Week - Heads up when buying new equipment

If you’re thinking about new equipment for the season, make sure you buy what you NEED, not what you think you want.
As a teaching pro, I see many students show up for lessons with equipment that is not fit for them. Whether the clubs are too long, to short, wrong flex, etc. Believe it or not, having the right equipment can make a huge difference in your golf game. You will hit the ball more consistent, and most importantly, have more fun!
Golf equipment is designed to make golf easier for you. So stop blaming your driver for bad drives, putter for missed putts, and ask yourself, is this the club I NEED?
See your local PGA of Canada Professional to make sure you get fitted for your next set of clubs. Trust me, it's worth it!

Tip of the Week - Getting more distance

This weeks tip comes from the longest player on the LPGA Tour, Lexi Thompson. It speaks volumes about my teaching philosophy and the importance of maintaining control of your golf swing.
